MISSION

Yo San Miguel was born from a singular idea. How can we lift up artists and help them connect to their community, opportunity and to their own greatness in a way that's never been done before. Our mission is to create an environment where artists across all disciplines feel excited about sharing, learning and immersing themselves in art together. This will be a gathering space, a communal hub and a place to showcase and promote yourselves in a unique and authentic way.

This first meetup is invite only with limited spots. We have assembled an incredible group of artists from a wide variety of disciplines including Filmmakers, Photographers, Dancers, Painters, Poets, Chef’s, Writers, Musicians, Illustrators among many other creatives and interesting people. We hope you can join us.

SCHEDULE

4:30pm - Arrival

4:45 - 5:45pm - Show + Tell This is an opportunity to share with the group more about yourselves and introduce what your current artistic projects are. Please bring biz cards, promotional postcards, etc. that you would like to share with the rest of the group if you have.

5:45 - 6:00pm Speaker Series / Q &A

Alejandro Anaya, Visual Artist and Creative Consultant will be talking about his experience in creating art workshops and his successes (and failures) along the way.

Xolox is the founder of the TAO EXPERIMENTAL ART RESIDENCE located here in SMA. He will share both his experience in launching such a big project and how local artists can get involved.

6:00 - 6:30pm - Refreshments/Networking + Live Music

6:30 - 7:00pm - Intention Setting Ceremony with Evelyne Pouget. The group sits around the fire with guided meditation and share what we envision and commit to in creating a conscious artistic community here in San Miguel De Allende, MX.

Please arrive on time. Doors close at 4:45 sharp!
